Thankful Tuesday

• This week, I'm especially thankful for antibiotics and that I live when and where medical treatment is available. Turns out that I had (have?) a kidney infection and fortunately caught it early enough that the antibiotics should take care of it easily and it won't lead to some potentially nasty complications.
  
  
• And I'm thankful that there are painkillers that work.
  
  
• And I'm thankful that I have insurance and the budget is flexible enough that I could go ahead and go to the urgent care center last Friday when nothing else was open and get treatment.
