I used to participate in this all of the time. I need to get back to it!
I have yet to follow a menu exactly during the week, but I definitely find that it helps avoid sandwiches or pizza or cereal for dinner 4 or 5 nights in a row. Any thought put into into seems to pay off for me at least.
